New York!
For our Christmas present Ben's family took us to New York City for a day. We got to see a Rockettes show and walk around. Above is a picture of us in front of the Christmas tree in Rockefellar square. There are a million dollars worth of pennies in front of it as well for a charity. If you watch the today show it mentions the penny thing.
This is some famous church that I can't think of the name right now.
Another picture of the tree.
Here is the ice skating rink in Rockefellar square.
This is in the Radio City Music Hall where we watched the show. We were on the 2nd mezanine and had great center seats!Christmas Party December 15th
We had a Christmas Party/ First Annual Gingerbread house contest with some friends a few weekends ago. Here is a snowman cheeseball I made (above). Below is people hard at work on their houses.
More people working.
Concentrating hard
Here is us and our football stadium gingerbread house.
We awarded prizes to everyone for their gingerbread houses. It was fun!Thursday, November 29, 2007
New Car!
Well, we bit the bullet and bought a new car. Ben's Toyota Tercel (1994) wasn't working so hot anymore and not worth fixing. We decided on a used 2007 Nissan Ultima. We really like it! And, it is an automatic which is great for traffic out here! Above is the front view. Below is the side view.
Here is the back end.
Here is the dash. It is soo cool, all you have to do is push a button to start the car. And it senses the key in your pocket and automatically unlocks the front two doors when you approach the car. More hi-tech than we know what to do with!
Thanksgiving
Above is a picture of us and my growing tummy in front of our Christmas Tree. Only 13 more weeks until Hyrum comes! Below is a picture of our picture stand that I had to move to fit the Christmas tree into our living room. I've got our nativity set up in front of it.
Another picture of our Christmas Tree.
Here is a picture from Thanksgiving at Ben's brother Rodney's house. This is Joselyn *spelling?, Ben's dad, and Ben, waiting for Turkey dinner.
Here are three of our nieces/nephew- Joselyn, Gabriella, and Austin.

This is a picture of his hands.
The arrow indicates, yes, it is a boy. This is kind of a butt shot. We are 24 weeks now and it is so crazy that I am taking care of 24 week babies in the NICU right now. 24 weeks is the cut off for resuscitation currently. It's kind of weird to see what size Hyrum is based on what our 24week NICU residents are. He better cook a little longer! No 24 week baby wanted here!Thursday, November 1, 2007
Halloween
We have had a spooky week. Monday night we carved pumpkins at Rob & Cari Freeman's house which was tons of fun. Here is Ben hard at work deciding what to do.
Here is Rob and Cari working on their pumpkins.
Here is our completed pumpkin. Not too original but it was still fun.
Okay, so this is a scary picture but not taken during Halloween. This was actually taken at 20wks and I am now 23 wks. People have been requesting to see my belly. That's all it is, a belly. Hyrum is doing well. We got a second peek at him on Halloween day and it is definetly still a boy and all our worries were put to rest.
Here are the completed pumpkins from Monday night. Ben & Katie's on the left, Cari's in the middle, and Rob's on the right.
On Halloween we went to Rob & Cari's again for a Halloween party. They were the only cool ones to dress up as a boy and girl scout. Pretty cool costumes!Sunday, October 7, 2007

The Beach!

Ben & Katie went camping in Dewey, Deleware along the coast. It was really fun. This is a picture of Ben putting the tent up at night. We had a nice little campsite on the beach!
This is our friends the Freemans who we went camping with. They beat us by getting their tent up first.
Breakfast Saturday morning was an adventure because the grill we wanted to make pancakes on wasn't working so well. So, we decided to try it on the real bbq grill. It was an adventure but worked out!
Not that anyone really cares to see us in our bathing suites but this is the best picture of the ocean. It was beautiful that day about 85 degrees and the breeze was blowing. We got a little scorched but it was really fun! The beach was nice and clean too. The water was cold but we got in anyway!

Old & New News!
This is not our baby, but it is our new niece! In April Katie went to Idaho to visit family and got to meet her new niece Candace. Katie really enjoyed spending time with her family but it was just a quick trip. Candace was in the NICU in Rexburg for a few days (where Katie used to work) but is doing great now! She was a little juandiced too!
This is Michelle (Age 4) holding Candace, with Ashley (age 20 months) sitting next to her. These are our nieces.
This is Becky, Ben's sister, holding Candace.
She is so cute when she smiles!
This is Ben's mom and Kayla (age 7). It was so fun to see everyone.
Ben and I are hanging out in the heat of Virginia. Katie is learning what humidity means. We really enjoy all of the green surroundings. Ben & Katie are busy working. Ben is enjoying his job at Mitre more and more and Katie is learning alot in a huge NICU. We are happy and looking forward to seeing lots of cool places this summer!
