It's been forever since I've blogged so I have a lot to catch up on. We got our patio done a few weeks ago and my mom came up to watch Hyrum for us so we could get it done. Above is a picture of Hyrum in his swimsuit playing in the grass/pool with my mom.
I started a garden and Hyrum found it. Here are a few funny pictures of him in the mud. He LOVES mud! It was a fun bathtime experience after this...and yes, he ate dirt.
Hyrum had his first haircut by a professional. My mom and I have been attempting to do it but he is too squirmy. He sad perfectly still and was a little unsure of what was going on. So cute now that we can see his eyes!

Here is our finished patio. Yeah!
Ben's sister Becky and I took the kids to the IF zoo a week ago. It was fun and Hyrum called every animal a doggie. He wouldn't pose but here is a picture of him on a chicken.
Before going to the zoo I had to wake him up and just had to take a picture because he is so precious when he sleeps!
Sorry the pics are out of order but here is another one of him losing his hair.
We had an interesting week. Hyrum started the week of with a bang by falling out of the shopping cart at walmart-very traumatic experience and please everyone buckle your children in and don't be a bad mom like me! After a phone call to my mom, the pediatrician, and Dr. Butcher (my bro-in-law) we determined he was fine and not worthy an ER visit and the bill that goes with it! Thanks to all those that helped! The next day was Hyrum's 15month check up where the nurse totally laughed with me about the previous day events(fall). Hyrum is 33.5 inches tall (97%) and 22lbs 11oz (24%). He is healthy and strong and if he turns out bad its cause we dropped him on his head from the shopping cart!

We had a BBQ this week with some of Ben's co-workers which was fun and other than that we've been stuck inside because of the rain! Ready for summer to start!
Here is a video of Hyrum dunking the basketball in his hoop. Maybe he should play for the Magic and they would win...not that we're big Magic fans...just want the Lakers to lose! Anyway-Hyrum is his father's son so enjoy grandparents!
All in all we've been having fun and new experiences!
