We finally have internet and cable! Yeah! Now we can post pictures! Here are some pictures of our new home and some pictures of a snow day we had one Sunday in February. Church was canceled so we took advantage of it by making a snow man and having snowball fights. Enjoy!

Our New Place
Things are going pretty well for us. We just moved into our condo/townhouse last weekend. It is a three bedroom, two and one half bath two level home. It has its own washer and dryer. Yeah! We will post pictures of it once we have things more organized. We still have boxes everywhere. We are really excited to have it though. We love that we are close to a lot of our friends in the neighborhood too. Ben is enjoying his job. He has been working for a temp agency but the company he is working for, Mitre, wants to buy out his temp agency contract and hire him on officially. We are really grateful for that! That means a pay increase too!! Yeah! Katie is doing well at her job. She has been working in the HUGE NICU for 3 weeks now. She loves every minute of it. It is amazing that they can save babies at 23 weeks here. It is kinda scary though. Everyone is really nice and friendly. Its really nice to work for a company that appreciates their nurses. Life is good. As soon as we have pictures we will post them. It has been fun to see everyones babies pop up on their blogs. Hopefully we'll have one to add someday soon too. Hope all is well with everyone. Can you believe it is March already? Time flies!

Our First Blog
Hello Everyone
This is Ben & Katie's first blog to catch everyone up.
Well, the beginning of January we moved to Springfield, Virginia, really close to D.C, because the job opportunities were much better out here. We packed up and drove 4 days across the country. The first day we went through Wyoming and a huge blizzard. I think our top speed that day was 30 mph. Eventually we made it. We are now living at Ben's parent's home for few weeks/months. Ben got a job within four days of moving here. He is working as a financial analyst for Mitre. Katie got a job within a week working for the Children's Hospital here in the NICU. Ben started his job immediately and Katie starts hers on February 12th. Katie is still going to school and finishing up her BSN. She will be done April 2007. We just got done looking at houses and decided renting seemed like a much better option. Things are so expensive outside of Rexburg. We are currently looking for a place to rent. Other than that, life is good. We miss our family and friends back in Idaho but are glad to be near our family and friends out here. Ben's brother and his wife and three kids are out here so we still get to play aunt and uncle every now and again. Other than that, life is good. Hope all is well with you and you've kept your New Year's Resolution.
